Mercury Viva & Roxy - The Two Low Cost New Handsets

The indian market is having its boom period in the production and marketing of mobile phones. each day new handsets are launched and are sold. technology has imparted a lot to this industry . No doubts , Major brands are focusing to manufacture high-end Smartphone and luxury handsets, while on the other end small scale industries and companies in India like micromax, lemon etc are busy in thinking for middle class family and are therefor busy in manufacturing low end budget phones.


Based on the concept that there is huge demand for cheap low end phones in india, Kobian has launched two new handsets Mercury Viva and Mercury Roxy in Indian handset market, these handsets are low-cost budget phone, and that too with decent features. Mercury Viva comes with bright LED display, dual SIM, 1.3 megapixel camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, E-book reader, expandable memory using micro SD.

Viva is powered by 1700 mAh battery, which gives 8 hrs of Talk time and 18 days of Standby time. One unique feature called “Magic Voice” that allows users to change their voice while attending calls.

Another low cost handset, Mercury Roxy , announced by Kobian comes with 2-inch LCD ultra bright display, Bluetooth, Expandable memory upto 4GB, Built-in music player, FM Radio and supports MSN and Skype.

Mercury Viva will cost Rs 1,999 and Mercury Roxy will cost Rs 2,999 in Indian market.
